Morgantown is a nice place for WV. The University does keep the town going. They offer sport events, and the town try's to do things as other reviews have mentioned. Overall an okay place to raise a family. Schools are good.

Nothing to do with children in the winter time other than maybe ice skate or a sports event. The roads are terrible ...

I am french, i came to morgantown to visit a friend. I was really surprised to see how people are friendly and welcoming. I have had very great parties, there are always a lot to do at night. But at day, there are very few things to do, downtown is nice : u can go to do shopping and to have a walk but it's very small so ur walk is done very quickly. Morgantown could be great if u're a student (being busy at day) or if u like nature.

The town is small and easy to get around in but the place is expanding and growing like wildfire. It is a college town so there is plenty of things to do and the people are friendly. If you love football, this is a great place to go watch a Div. IA team play and tailgate like a pro. Come ready to have a good time and get out and stay busy.
