Can you say ignorance is bliss, well if so then you would be at home in Spokane. Child pedophiles are trucked here monthly from around the country, the police dept is a joke, even the mayor has sex with interns for promise of a better job. When I first came to Spokane it had a grubby feeling, with the mix of redneck ignorance every where you went, ...
Have been here a few days and traveled extensively throughout the city. Plusses and minuses. Lots of industry but I wonder if one must be "union" in order to work here. Wealth in some spots and a vibrant downtown, but a LOT of lower-class housing/neighborhoods. In fact, the lower-class predominated. I would not be averse to visiting this ...

We live about 6 hours from Spokane and love to be able to go visit. I have always wanted to move there but my husband does not like the idea of such a big city. For a bigger city this place still feels small, its easy to get around, traffic really is not that bad at all, theres lots of great stores and restraunts, and so many things going on. ...
I am in the army and have done quite a bit of traveling across the country and let me put it to you this way. You dont know what you have untill you lose it. Spokane and the surrounding area can support virtually any desired lifestyle. If your looking for nightlife our downtown as been thouroughly revived the past 5-10 years and if you dont like ...

Spokane, Oh spokane

Spokane is a great place to live. I agree, but lately, spokane has had troubles with remembering people with lower income. But I guess that is par for the course in the USA.

Will relocate to Spokane soon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/10/07
Born, raised in Seattle, college at UW and EWU, met wife in Spokane and loved it. Spoke reminds me of my hometown growing up. It gets ripped for being a throwback but that's it selling point. Big enough to have all the amenities you need and/or want--but none of the downside of the big city. I have lived on both coasts and the Midwest ...
Spokane is a historical place with many things to do, especially downtown! It has quite a few beautiful parks, two of my favorites are Manito Park and Riverfront Park because they are absolutely amazing places to go. There also are a lot of things to do in Spokane, I would suggest Spokane to anybody, anytime.

You are listing the TOP 10 SKI getaways? Hello, you have CLEARLY nevery visited Washington State. What about Steven's Pass, Crystal Mtn., Mt. Baker, even Snoqualmie Pass? They all run CIRCLES around Spo-Compton. I have skied there. I am not sure if you ara aware that the MOUNTAINS are in Western Washington, NOT Eastern Washington-- get a ...
I grew up in Spokane my whole life so I never knew any different until I moved to Pullman, Wa (a small college town 70 miles away). And I dont know what everyone is complaining about... Spokane is a great place to be, IF and only if you are in the right PLACE in spokane. If nightlife is your thing you would enjoy downtown, there are multiple bars ...
