I lived here for a few years. With the influence of Hanford (where i worked) it seemed like there were a lot of very educated people without social skills. This is not a town where everybody waves to you or says Hi. Most people look straight ahead.

I live in Richland and just love it here! After traveling all over the country and world (military) We could have choosen anywhere to live, but this is a great town to raise a family and have sunshine almost 300 days a year with mild winters. Richland, Washington offers a safe haven from busy city life: you get a confluence of three rivers in the Tri-Cities of Washington, plenty of walking/biking trail including riverside, and fairly close accessto Big cities.
