This town is full of hiking trails, beaches, and a lot of shops. There is a mountain nearby where you can ski. There a breathtaking views all over town. A must see town.
My home town! What's so great about it? There's farms, museums, bays, waterparks. beaches, parks, and much more. Bellingham has a lot to offer too, trails to hike, whale watching, the Fairhaven historic district, a drive to Mt Baker, The famous Chuckanut Drive, and more. I grew up and still live here ... can't imagine living any where else. So come and visit ... you won't regret it!
This is a very lovely town in Northwest Washington state. I suggest staying in a rental house on Lake Whatcom. The lake and the mountains are beautiful! Downtown Bellingham is easily accessible all amenities are within minimal driving distance from the lake. Elizabeth park is a very nice place to picnic or loiter the afternoon away. A great place to have a laid back vacation!

I loved the scenry, i never met a rude person. I loved the park at the hatchery, as well as the antique shops. The old model a tunnels in the nearby hills was interesting. Me and my family are going to try to relocate there in 2006.

Bellingham has a lot to offer, trails to hike, whale watching, the Fairhaven historic district, a drive to Mt Baker, The Chuckanut Drive. We were in the area for ten days and never lacked for something to do.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/05
I loved pretty much everything. There's farms, museums, bays, waterparks. The people here will trade, trade trade! They love trading! Well, I personaly love Whatcom Falls. Lynden is a small town about 15 minutes or so away from Bellingham and it is wonderful. It is all dutch so there are windmills, dutch gift shops, and a lot of dairies out ...
