My family and I have vacationed their about 5 times now. We love it. The people are nice there is so much to do. We find something new every year. Its beautiful and cost is reasonable. I recommend Busch Gardens and Yorktown haunted cruise and ghost walk. If your willing to go a little further like we did MT Vernon is a beautiful place to visit.

Williamsburg Hospitality House
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 02/14/08
My sons and I stayed at the Williamsburg Hospitality House for a weekend in mid-January. This is about the 3rd time our family has stayed there (my husband couldn't make this trip). The Hospitality House is in a terrific location. It's right across the street from the College of William and Mary (our primary destination this time) and ...

Redroof Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 10/03/07
We have been to Williamsburg many times over the last 25 years.
WE STAYED ONE NIGHT AT REDROOF INN ON 25 SEP 07.
THIS PLACE IS A DUMP AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST. THE BEST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO THIS REDROOF IS TO DOZER IT INTO THE GROUND. IT WAS DIRTY, NOISY, THE BATHROOM WAS OUT OF THE ANCIENT AGES AND DIRTY, WE HAD SOME ...

Historical Lesson
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 04/20/07
Being from Virginia and loving almost everything about Virginia, being at Williamsburg was fun and fasinating for me. The main thing is the history that I love about this place. The buildings, the people the environment just sings 1800s or whatever. Check out Bush Gardens if you do come here.

I come to Williamsburg several times a year, mainly to visit family. Of course visit the colonial area, and don't forget to check out Jamestown this year, especially in the spring- the 400th anniversary holds for many lovely events. Bring the kids and head out to Busch Gardens, for thrill rides, as well as other attractions. Check out Market ...

Presidents Park
By smmarzano2002, 10/22/06
My husband saw this park in a travel book and he wanted to check it out. I was surprised by the park. It has sculpted bust of all the presidents, with facts about them along side. I learned a lot of things that I never new and we ended up spending about 2 hrs. there instead of the 1 hr. that is recommended. This is a must see for anyone who ...

By Vicky B, 08/26/06
WILLIAMSBURG IS A GOOD VACATION SPOT TO GO. NOT FAR FROM JAMESTOWN AND THE BEACH..PLACE TO SHOP IS THE PRIME OUTLET MALL..ALL OF THE BRAND NAMES SHOPS SUCH AS RALPH LAUREN, LL BEAN,CALVIN KLEIN AND MUCH MORE.PLACE TO EAT IS CAPTAIN GEORGE'S..MORE SEAFOOD TO EAT THAN YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH.
Williamsburg, Virginia is by far my favorite place to visit, though I have only been three times because of the distance from me. When I go, there are four major stops I must make, and they are by importance, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, and The Christmas Mouse.
Colonial Williamsburg is a small village built to look, ...

Great fun, not so sure for littles.
By wilkecollins, 06/23/06
I must first say that I went with several little ones (four under the age of 5) and while it is fun for older children there is not a whole lot to do for littles. They enjoyed the brickmaker's place and the animals they found interesting but on a hot and muggy day, they can be bored out of their head.
That being said, the site itself is ...
