Shallow, Boring, Rude; these are the things I think of when someone says Norfolk. It is not cheap to live here. The former military people not only have that blind republican attitude but the drive down wages because they collect their Uncle Sam pensions. Don't go. It is quite uneventful.

For such a small town, Norfolk is very rich in culture. From the Macarthur memorial to the Chrysler Museum of Art. They have wonderful places to eat that are almost never crowded and convient shopping. If you go to a 7/11 and it's out of something, go across the street to the other 7/11 on the block.
