Fairfax is a very nice place to live. Like every place, there are cons. Lot's of traffic, so spread out nothing is near anything, very small (but quaint) down town, and how did I forget about high cost of living(city of Fairfax might be a little cheaper than the county), etc.

Shopping and eating is very spread out. Anybody from this area knows distance, however short, equals a very long time in traffic. Visiting is wonderful, it has easy access to the metro. However, there are communities that are much more user friendly.

I like Fairfax, I grew up here and now work here. I think like any place, I may want something new soon though.
