We took my son, when he was a young teenager here, as well as Zion, and he was truly impressed! The hiking (or walks, as I like to call them) was well worth being tired at day's end. Some of the hoodoos are quite weird and you start seeing things that they look like at every bend in the trail. The trails are very well maintained and the park ...

Fantastic Views and inspirational too.

We went this year in early Nov. It was not crowded. The light was fantastic on the rocks. We saw some wildlife. Just a little bit of snow. I would pack mittens, hiking boots and a hiking stick, if you want to walk the trails. We did not take a trail ride or ATV but might have if we had stayed a bit longer. Stayed at the Best Western Ruby's ...
Bryce Canyon is the most breathtaking place I have ever been. We took a horse/mule ride down to the bottom and it was awesome. The drive around the road to the overlooks was a reminder of God's majesty. Lunch at the lodge was standard instituional fare though.
As far as wildlife, we spotted chipmunks, deer and quite a few ravens. I would go back there often.
Bryce Canyon is a must see!!! We ride dirt bikes and there are dirt bike trails outside the park. It was an amazing way to see God's creation. We were there in Aug. of 05 and we witnessed some amazing thunderstorms, it was simply beautiful!!! We stayed at the Ruby Inn and were able to park our dirt bikes right out side our hotel door.

Amazing Experience

It was a wonderful experience driving thru the southern Utah not just visiting the Bryce Canyon but Zion as well. Definately a place to visit, with fabulous scenery, great hiking trails, nothing alike I have seen before.

Bryce Canyon was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. Southern Utah offers many places that exhibit this desert beauty, such as Delicate Arch and Zion. Although I did not stay in Bryce or at any of it's accommodations, the park was enough for me to go back and visit as I pass through. Also, unlike the North end of the ...

A Spiritual Experience!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/06
Everyone should see the beauty of Bryce Canyon, then on to Arizona, and the Grand Canyon. Truly a restful, spiritual experience! This is truly an awesome area of our country! Breathtaking! A great place to take your family!
Before going to Bryce I had heard from travelers from as far away as France that this place was the most beautiful spot on Earth. After having seen a decent bit of the rest of the world, I can't say that I've been to a more beautiful location.
Although small compared to nearby parks, Bryce Canyon offers more than it's share of ...
