San Angelo is a friendly city but not a lot to do here. Like the rest of Texas it is unbearably hot for about 6 months of the year. Lots of nice parks along the Concho River and walking areas. City is clean and attractive. Of course, you have to eat at Zentner's Steak House but once you've eaten and seen Ft. Concho, it's time to drive on.

this is a cute small texas town great small shops and good texas barbecue, people are very friendly nice place to spend a afteroon!there are few hotels so call ahead if you plan to spend the night

Its a place you can trust. In San Angelo I never have to worry about what we're going to do because its a place of culture. Our favorite restaraunts are Ichibans; for good original hibachi Japanese, Francos; a little whole in the wall that has the best homeade Mexican food you will ever eat, & of course Dunbar East the best Texas home cooking ...

I think San Angelo is a horrible place to visit. I wouldn't advise anyone to come here. Sure, there are some things to do, but not many. Also, the things there are aren't exactly amazing. There is a mall with absolutely nothing except things like American Eagle, and Hot Topic which both are stores that you can find at any other mall, ...

the locals are nice, the scenery is beautiful, and have a number of small sports teams

I worked in San Angelo on contract from 1982-1985 for Gen Tel Co. of the Southwest.
The people are friendly, the climate is not extreme & the area is remote but not that remote. I will go back to stay in the near future.

Very rude locals, air of exclusivity - if you're not from here, they don't want you here, so save them and yourself the trouble.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. I disliked the taste of the water.
