The people are excellent and very friendly. It's a laid back, slower paced city that has everything you need within a short distance. Home prices are actually affordable. Great dining, boating, fishing and shopping. Highly recommended.

Sahadi Cafe is a must for any one that visits this area. The over all selection of nonfried food, and the salads will impress any traveler.

Everything is great at the Rio grande valley, this is one of the places that you can say still is good place to raise a family. There is alot of fun thing to do and get done. It is very organized and keeped clean.

I like this place because there is alot to do like go to the beach to south padre island or go to mexico .. everything is close to this city. mcallen has great stores , malls , hot weather and lots of great food. It is also a very low crime city . Whenever i get a chance i will go and visit again.
