Street grid system make it easy to find your way around town. Great college town atmosphere, especially on game day. City shows it's support of Texas Tech, unlike San Marcos who feels Texas State is a burden. Don't miss the Buddy Holly Center. Best value in town!

I don't like a communter airport. Everything connects to either Dallas or Houston.

I don't like the lack of major concerts and events.

Everyone greets you with a smile and is very friendly...everything is grid locked so it is very easy to find your way around...the entire city is surrounded by many many resturants and night clubs...the daquori lounge and grahams central stationa are 2 of the most fun and entertaining clubs. We visited the cactus theater and loved it..almost a 2nd broadway....love it!!!

When passing through West Texas, Lubbock is an excellent place to stop. Get your day off to a good start with a Cafe Royale from Daybreak Coffee Roasters on 19th.
