It's a shame that a nice motel like this would skimp on the comfort of their guests. The beds are like bricks, as a matter of fact, you could hear the cheap packing everytime you turned over. The pillows were feather, which in itself isn't bad, except that they had cheap covers so the ends of the feathers were sticking out like needles in ...
My wife use to have family in Fredericksburg so we have been there many times in the last 25 years. It is a pretty, charming, clean town full of history, shopping, and things to do.
Yes, Fredericksburg is a tourist town. Any given weekend the population grows substantially, especially around the Holidays. But it is more than a tourist town. It ...
I found this little town to be quite enchanting. It is only about an hour west of San Antonio on 10. Joe and I had a great lunch in Brewery. It was a beautiful cool sunny day. A perfect South Texas fall day spent with a truly nice man.
My husband and I love this town in the hill Country North of San Antonio. We even decided to spend a weekend on a our first wedding anniversary here. We've also brought families here visiting us from WA and CA and they love it. Good German food, beer, awesome shopping, antiques abound here, and friendly people. We stayed at Das College Haus ...

A Great Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/06
I loved Fredericksburg...it was so cute and the people are so friendly. We stayed with Gastehaus Schmit in the Yellow House and it was so relaxing. The house was adorable and the neighborhood was so quite. The town ...
My girlfriend and I recently stayed a Friday and Saturday night in the Hemingway Suite. If you are looking for a well decorated, upscale bed and breakfast with an early 1900’s atmosphere, then the AL Patton – Hemingway Suite may be for you – but it did have its share of fairly serious problems! The pros would most certainly be the beautifully ...

My husband and I have been coming to Fredericksberg for many years now. We really enjoy Octoberfest. We also like to walk and shop at our own pace. Also, Enchanted Rock is wonderful to visit as a day trip. Fredericksberg is a unique town with so many different things to do. I have never been able to do them all. We love this place. Also Guesthouses are the way to go.

So glad we went!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/05
Most people we know don't even realize that Texas has hills, much less a designated Hill Country, so it was fun for us to go and take lots of pictures of this beautiful area and share them with our friends. Highlights of our visit: the National Museum of the Pacific, Wildseed Farms, Circle E Candle Factory/Store, Airport Diner at the Hangar ...
