  • Good and Bad
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 06/18/08
Well like every city it has its flaws. Nothing much do do in El Paso but go eat out and go to the movies. Some people are nice here and some are not, just like every other city. Many people don't know how to drive in El Paso but mainly the people from Cd. Juarez are people that tend to be the ones that make it a bad experience when driving ...

  • El Paso (El Chuco) great city!
    By lcmora2003, 04/03/08
I miss "El Chuco" specially chicos tacos man! I wish could go back soon to enjoy the fun I use to have in this awsome city. I regret moving to Phoenix, its nice and all but it's not even close to what El Paso is. Now you wanna talk about violent city?Phoenix is so bad, but El Paso is just right and don't have to worry about getting shot when you go out to the clubs!

    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 02/16/08
El Paso Texas has been my home for 16 years and has provided nothing but safety and a welcoming atmosphere. Believe it or not el paso is the second safest city in the nation. The first is Honolulu. No not every body around here speaks perfect English or Spanish. But most do. Example me. Don't even get me started on the brilliant education all ...

  • Don't Live Here
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/12/08
The major work opportunity is joining the border patrol. That's right, the hot job here is keeping other people out.
Its that kind of thinking that makes El Paso a third rate city.
    Stay classy, El Paso.

  • El Paso Texas, land of yesterday
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 10/30/07
El Paso is a place that is isolated from the rest of the United States: four hour drive from the big cities of Lubbock, Chihuahua and Albuquerque. Wow, now that is alone out there with no big brother telling you to vote this way or think that way. Yeah, no one speaks perfect English or perfect Spanish but everyone understands that respect is ...

  • I love El Paso
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 10/30/07
I love El Paso I've lived here all my life and i would never move. The people are very friendly and the mexican food is great. Yes at times there is nothing to do besides going to movies or bowling and going to Juarez is old. It would be nicer if El Paso did have more entertainment parks. I plan to stayb in El Paso and raise my children here.

  • Dont bother
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/16/07
Ive lived here for 5 years, and I can say that El Paso is a brain drain city. Most people here are not educated beyond high school. The mimimum wage here is still $5.25 and there are not any decent jobs avalible unless you are Hispanic or Mexican. It doesnt matter what you know its who you know. I plan to leave as soon as I finish college. El Paso ...

  • Don't come here if you want to live!
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/03/07
What can I say about this place? Well, if you're unfortunate enough to pass through then you know you're one of the lucky ones. Currently the murder rate is on the rise with South/Central being the worst when it comes to drugs, gangs, and murder. I wouldn't be caught there in the dead of night. Ditto for parts of Dyer in the Northeast. ...

  • Ignorance Galore!
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/10/07
The clerk at Albertson's didn't know what marinated artichoke hearts were!!!!! I had to show her the jar so she would become educated. I couldn't buy alcohol on the 4th of July at Lowe's/Big 8 because my (current and real) license was from CA. The drivers here got their licenses from a Cracker Jack box. I will say that the ...

  • Don't Bother
    By saranajia, 06/18/07
El Paso is ugly, the people are rude, their driving is terrible. The city gives back to the Mexican shoppers every penny of sales tax. They fill out a 'manifesto' and get the sales tax amount back, this is wrong, who put this practice into action anyway? We dont travel to another country and expect to get cash back for shopping there ...
