I've lived in Johnson City, TN. for 3.5 years now. It's a good little city. You have to get past the morons in city commission that for some reason can't be voted out and the fact that they seem to have personal agenda's (Pete Paduch).

it was great, the fall is probably the best time to visit this magnificant place. The chang of leaves is the most outstanding work of God I have ever seen. I seen more in the week that i was in this laid back town, than i have in my whole life.

There are lots of things to do! You should visit in the summer. It's so much fun. We go there all the time.

I love this place the schools are great Happy Valley High is the best school there. I am in Texas and i am going back there. I just wish there was more to do.

Johnson City's planning is a little off. It is trying to copy Knoxville which is causing major traffic issues and overcrowding of intersections. The law enforcement is pothetic. The people here are in general good. You will have more people be polite than absurd but the jerks are truely one of a kind. Big city fan? j.c. is not for you. country ...
