I was born in a one room log cabin here,but moved away in my primary years. I have fond memories of our trips to town, by walking or catching the milk truck in. We would go down to Roses store on Depot street and maybe a few others. We always got either a banana, piece of gum (torn in half, for my sister & I)or a stick of "old fashion" ...
