  • a fun little town
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/23/08
Very tourist-y and Western. We liked the fudge shop, where I would recommend the white chocolate haystacks, and it was fun to see the taffy shop's machines pulling the taffy. We ate at the place that advertises the buffalo ribs, a couple stores down from the pizza place (sorry I can't remember the names!), which was very good, and our ...

  • Another great Black Hills town
    By matt203hender, 02/20/07
Keystone and Hill City were my favorite towns in the Hills. The people from Keystone and Hill City are the most friendly people you will ever meet. Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park were pretty cool. I though Crazy Horse was a rip off for paying 25 dollars to see a 10 percent finished monument and had nothing fun to do. Mount Rushmore on the ...

Beautiful laid back atmosphere, people are very friendly. Close to Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore and away from the hustle of the cities on Interstate 90.

  • Gorgeous area - hope to visit again!
    By tiger_tiger@sbcglobal.net, 07/27/05
Mt. Rushmore and the whole Black Hills area is absolutely beautiful - and very romantic, which might be surprising to some... it would be a nice honeymoon spot actually. We visited during a road trip looping the country - MO, OK, TX, NM, CO, WY, SD, NE, IA & of course IL, IN, OH. Keystone was the best part of the trip - although the Sandia Peak ...

  • We love it!
    By dilbertshoney, 07/10/05
We love staying in Keystone when ever we are visiting the Black Hills. Checking out the many interesting shops is always fun. Some of our favorite things to do in downtown Keystone, besides visiting all the stores on the boardwalk, are getting an old fashion picture taken and watching the taffy pulling machine (and enjoying some taffy tasting!). ...
