sumter is a joke.There are a lot of places to hunt, fish, and kayak.That's about the only thing good I have to say. What I don't like about Sumter is there are no good jobs and most of the people who do have a good jobs have it because they're related to the owner. If you send your kids to public school they will end up trying to be a ganster or a drug dealer because thats what everyone around here wants to be. EwThere is not much to like in Sumter, though it is improving greatly. It lacks the "Southern Charm" you'd come down here to see, and neither does it have the convenience of a regular Northern city. It's just basically a place to stop between Myrtle Beach and Columbia, right now.

are you talking about Sumter?Wilson Hall is where the rich kids go. I guess if you can afford it, it's good. Sumter's other schools are ok but the public schools don't get high marks. I would suggest Pocalla Elementary for a great public elementary school. sumter, home sweet homeSumter is a city in South Carolina that is not very well known but in my opinion is an undiscovered paradise. Everybody knows eachother and its hard to go to the Walmart without seeing somebody you know. It is a great place to grow up, with such nice people and scenery.
