Orangeburg= College townOrangeburg is a small college town, but for my 18 years I resided there I had fun. Football season in the city is THE thing. SCSU, USC, Clemson and Orangeburg-Wilkinson(High School) football games are where you need to be. The city in close to Columbia, Charleston and a 2 hour drive from Charlotte, NC. Couldn't wait to get out of townI travel extensively on business and have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome before in my life.
The night I stayed in Orangeburg, I went through a drive-thru and ate in my hotel room (with the door locked).
