Gaffney, South CarolinaThis city is about 55 miles from Charlotte, NC and is famous for it's Peachoid Water Tower right off I-85. The water tower is clearly visible for miles away as it holds 1,000,000 gallons of water. funWe came to Gaffney to visit relatives. The Jameson Inn is beautiful to look at, and very comfortable. We stopped at a travel stop and they gave us a discout ticket for the inn so we got 10% off of their already low prices. We could walk to walmart, sonic, and many other food and shopping areas.
