Happy Valley is said to be one of the best places on earth. It has one of the best schools in the world, where something is always going on. If that is not your cup of tea, there are wonderful shops in downtown State College. And if that weren't enough just a few minutes drive from town is some of the most beutiful places in nature, where you can hike, kayak, cross country ski, or relax and contemplate life. This is truely Happy Valley

i grew up in state college too, but i escaped! moved out to san francisco after high school, now i'm in college here in ca and love the bay area!

state college is like stepping back to the dark ages of human progress. if you people are looking for a place that's thriving with optimism, the avant-garde, and tolerance, then state college, pa is not the town for you and me.
