Lebanon is a bedroom community between great places like Hershey, Lancaster, Harrisburg and Reading. The other towns have more to do but if you like history, Lebanon would be a good place to stop. The people are nice once you get a conversation going. I don't think they're accustomed to travelers in their midst because the town isn't really a travel destination.

lebanon is not worth it. nothing to see. cold and unfriendly people. nothing to do...
lebanon is nothing more than a couple of miles of Bars, Chinese restaurants, and ugly homes.

Rural, but good food

This city honestly has the best Chinese food! 5-Star, A-1,... all of them are great. They have one really nice Greek restuarant,too.
Anyway, the housing here is nice and comftable. I saw a guy driving in the Porche here.
The malls are a little rural, but it dosen't matter.
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire has something for everyone. During Halloween at the theater I saw "Edgar Allen Poe" read with his "wife".It was fabulous. I felt as though I was actually in his time. No one ever broke character. During the breaks in poems those "of age" were able to go to the bar area and taste wine. ...
