Great family getawayMy family loves to go to Gettysburg. We love the history of the town. When my son was small, he loved playing soldier on the battlefield. The ghost walk tours are great way to spend some time. If you have small children ages 5-8, remember to take paper and crayons to get rubbing of the tombstones. Accomodating? ...NOTwo night stay minimum with no exceptions in this day and time is unreasonable at best. When I tried to explain my circumstances and the desire to stay at the same place as other family members I was basically told that they're in the business to make money. STAY at THE COMFORT INN ... 1 mile away.OVERALL

BEST PLACE IN GETTYSBURGThe food is the best and the game pie is always the best you will ever have. The service is A+++++++ it is very cheap and the ghost stories are so much fun for all ages. hoping to go back once morethis is one of the places in the world I keep going back to. For me it has a terrific atmosphere, I have read a lot of the history of the Civil War, and this was such all-important episode in that war. If you walk the fields today, you can still feel it. I came for the paranormalI fell in love with Gettysburgh - everyone was amazing although I came for the paranormal and was a little disappointed that the haunted thing was sold on every corner (although, what did I expect?)

Tops on my list to visit!Gettysburg is one of the most beautiful places in the United States. Looking out over the battlefield from atop Little Roundtop at dusk is breathe taking. I love the history, my family loves the close proximity to other attractions such as Hershey, Pittsburgh and D.C.
I could visit every year.

An awesome place to visit!!!I absolutely LOVED Gettysburg! I was blessed with the chance to go there for the first time this summer and sooo thankful I did! We went in the beginning of Aug. of 2006.
