  • Keep on going nothing to see
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/05
Disliked the fact the 90% of the business down town is from 5th Avenue to 8th Avenue 98% of buisness down town is on one street called Main Street.

When a chain store, restaurant, department store, dug store try to come into Clarion, the Commissioners or township board members try to run it out of town so it can't come in so they can ...

  • Autumn Leaf Capital of the World
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Come to Clarion and experience Cook Forest, small town living, and the Autumn Leaf Capital of the world. It's a great place to visit and live.

Check out the Gateway Lodge in Cook Forest for eating and lodging. Drive to Dubois and experience excellent Italian cuisine at Luigi's restaurant.

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/05

There are restaurants and hotels with a small-town feel. The town is fairly easy to navigate, with lots of parking. Main Street holds many family-owned shops where most anything can be found, and for the ...

  • Please don't come back
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/05
Disliked most things closed between 5pm-9pm

Not alot of night life after 9pm, except the local Walmart, and a few local bars.

Not enough hotels in the area, no local attractions close to the area, closes is Cooks Forest State Park, which is 15 miles away.

There are no good retail stores except Walmart, and Kmart.

    Very few ...
