country livin' in ole Douglas CountyMy experience in Roseburg was an enlighting one! I was lucky enough to stay at the City Center Inn. You have to reserve your room 6 months in advance, but let me tell you, it is well worth the wait and the price! The old west atmosphere was to die for. I felt like I was in the middle of one of my favorite John Wayne films. Yeehaw!

Good place to stopMy wife and I have two favorite places in Roseburg: the Windmill Inn for overnight and breakfast and the Rodeo Steakhouse for dinner.
The Windmill is the best place to stay along the I-5 - period. Their rooms and service are great, the rates reasonablew and the staff friendly and helpful.
