I love Lincoln City!We took a short holiday to the Oregon Coast, and spent our first night in Lincoln City at the Ashley Inn. Unfortunately (and how could we have foreseen?) we happened to plan our little jaunt during an unseasonable storm that lasted the duration of the trip. (In tow: Me, my husband, our teen-aged daughter, and our 7 year old)

I return every year!Every February my mom and I plan a trip to Lincoln City.I love the beach and we always stay at a smaller motel called Salior Jacks...There very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and the beach is right out your slider door and down the stairs....I love the sound of the ocean at night before you go to bed.. Coho Inn is an awful choiceIf one is seeking a relaxing vacation, I advise staying as far away from the Coho Inn as possible. The staff has a generally poor attitude and demonstrates lackluster service. The best home away from home around!We go to Lincoln City every year for Fathers Day weekend because there is something to do for everyone. The crabbing on Siletz Bay is awesome, the guys go crabbing and we sit on the beach and sunbathe and talk while the kids are playing in the ocean and building sandcastles.
