  • Stay out!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/09
The real estate market is crashed. We don't need any more liberals coming here telling the locals not to hunt etc. We don't like Kalifornians.

  • Nice but very corrupt
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/08
Bend has a lot of great features beautiful scenry lot of outdoor activity. Bend has and always will be a very corrupt city run by a few big boys who have their paid puppets in office. The city officals have numerous times lied to the voters to get issues to pass to pad the pockets of their special interest groups. They are overdeloping certain ...

  • Lived there before the boom
    By WarderJack, 08/20/06
Bend has become an outdoor mecca with it's proximity to mountain sports at Mt. Bachelor, rock climbing at Smith Rocks and numerous Cascade Lakes for camping and boating. The city has also become popular for people getting away from larger urban areas like Portland and Seattle and many California transplants.

When my family first moved to ...

  • What a great place!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/06
This place smells great! A cross between sagebrush and juniper. The air quality is second to none. We decided to move from the Bay Area about 3 months later. We used a local realtor, Chris Sulak, at John L. Scott. He'll take good care of you. We found our dream house and are loving it! Bend is great!

I have lived in Bend for 25 years. why so long? Because I love it. It is beautiful and there are many things to do. We are a comunity that is based on family and preservation of our natural habitat area's. I have watched this "town" become a "city" with massive growth. • Relaxed Living
    By Karin, 09/04/05
Things seemed to go at a little slower pace and people are friendlier and more helpful. Old Town and the park are a jewel! Being by the river is so relaxing. The sceenery with all the snow-capped mountains is fantastic! I would consider retiring in Bend. It has great atmosphere, has all the conveniences one needs for daily living and seems a ...
