We discovered Bandon almost by accident (though we knew about its famous golf courses) because of a weather-related detour. Stayed at the outstanding Bandon Inn overlooking the harbor and had dinner at The Wheelhouse. It was superb. Pity we didn't get to see the place in daylight.

Bandon is truely a jewel of a treasure. It used to be one of the "best kept" secrets of Oregon, but I think the word has gotten out.
This is a destination that when you get there, the rest of the world does not exist.

Love this place, many great restarants,including but not limited to Lord Bennets, The Bandon Dunes the Pub and main Lodge dining rooms, the Wheelhouse restaurant and La Fiesta Mexican restaurant...Ask a Local about anything and they will be friendly and helpful.Awesome Expansive Beachs.Many nice hotels and motels to choose from.This place is heaven on earth thats why I live here,my overall experience is a 5 Star*****
