Pro's: inexpensive food, restaurant, and goods prices, fanatical football fans, mild winters, university town, supercell thunderstorms
Con's: high state income taxes ($10k/yr puts you in top bracket), hot summers, poor public transit system, few bars, state-mandated 3% alcohol content in beer

Norman is a contemporary college town seated just North of the Canadian River and nesteled just South of the state capitol, Oklahoma City. Norman is a quiet and safe town with a variety of cultural events offered throughout the year. There is shopping, entertainment, and educational opportunities, plus it is a short jaunt to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and even Dallas, TX is just two and a half hours away.
