I came to visit relatives in Elk City, and stayed for a week. Last time I had been there was about 10 years ago; had an "ok" time then. This time, I stayed at the newly-opened Comfort Inn and Suites. City is in odd location. Can't find any roads. Roads are confusing. People drive like morons, almost ran into our car. There is nowhere to eat at night (even though hotel front desk proudly proclaimed, "we have 40 restaurants here"). Ended up at Sonic with very unfriendly staff demanding to know if we wanted "Fries or Tater ...
