We just love it! We like going to the lake camping out! They have some of the most beautiful cabin's; now to find the nicer cabin's you have to look on line. It does help if you happen to know someone that lives there that can help you to find some of the better deals. If you get a chance be sure to check out some of the festivals that they have you will have a good time!

Relaxing vacation!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/06
The lake was picture perfect when we vacationed there in July of 2006. It is a quiet, relaxing place to enjoy nature. We rented a beautiful cabin from 3 Oaks Cabins in Hochatown. This area is a great place to "get away from it all" and we have already recommended it to several of our friends!

Lake Pine Retreat
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/06
Warning do not believe the web site. My family and I just came back from staying at the RV park in Broken Bow. We wanted to stay at Beavers Bend State Park but they were booked up so they recommended Lake Pine Retreat to us, we found thier web site and it looked like a nice place to stay and if the State Park recommended it we were sure it would be ...

This place is nature if I have ever seen it. You can see wildlife every where. The deer will cross the road and stand there. The lake and river are always cool even when it is hot. Teh park rangers are very nice and helpful. We go atleast once a year just to get away. The tent and RV sites are resonably priced but I have been told that the cabins are alittle high. It is worth the drive.

simply beautiful

The main attraction of Broken Bow is the lake, and what a lake it is. It's not crowded, the water is clearer than other lakes in the area, and the scenery is breathtaking. My family and I went there for vacation in summer of 2004 and had an enjoyable time. We found a fantastic cabin with a fully-stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms, fireplace, ...
I really love the lake north of town--Broken Bow. It's beautiful. You can hike in the adjacent state park (Beaver's Bend); there are several trails. You can go in the visitor's office (Forest Heritage Center) and the volunteers there will give you maps of the trails. I really think it is great that there are no entrance fews to the ...
