I was so suprised by how dirty this place was. There was some cool historical stuff though, however, that was about it. No nightlife, no shopping, and crime looked bad.

not well maintained not much traveler interest sites besides cleveland there could be more things to see and restaurants to go to and vould be cleaner and a little better kept as far as pollution and damage and crime

Akron, Ohio is a great place for history buffs. You have the beautifully restored Civic Theatre downtown, the homes of the Rubber Barons on Portage Path and Merriman, the home Thomas Edison was married in, old churches, the canal, and too much to list!

Loved it, the people were real not like the east or west coast. This is the birth place of AA. There are alot of related spots to experience. The parks were beautiful and peaceful. Hotels were priced in line with service and comfort. The food was reasonably priced and waitor/ress we pleasant and attentive.
