This was our third visit and we love it. Fort Macon had finished their work and it was a wonderful experience. The NC Aquarium was newly built and very very nice. They just need more parking. Took a boat to Cape Lookout lighthouse and was just beautiful. People there are soooo friendly. Beaches are really clean and it's a great place to take a family. We highly reccomend Morehead City NC to everyone.

I love the atmosphere that this little busy town creates. With a buzzing marine port and historic fort to boot, Morehead City comes complete with romance and it's very own lighthouse within close reach. A vacation destination for all ages that will give the beauty of nature with a glimpse of the sea and many more treasures found in the shops ...
