My week in Kitty Hawk, NC was full of rest and relaxation. I visited the small town with my husband and in-laws in April of 2007. It was my first visit to the area. We lodged at their time share quarters, (my in-laws have been going for the past ten years or so).

(They are all tourist junk joints, I just love them, though!)

I went there for my first time hangliding. It was only 100 feet in the air at the highest on the dunes, so it's fairly safe to learn. The surf was RAD.lol

i liked the staff they were very polite and gentle and sweet they trated you like family...i didnt like that i had to leave my pet at home though

I have visited the Kiity Hawk, Outer Banks area a few times and I absolutely love this place. The fishing piers are great, people are wonderful and very welcoming. This is absolutely some of the best surfing on the east coast. When i visited they were just rebuilding from hurricanes that ripped up the coast a few years ago. So that was a little ...
