This place is too crowded for me. I was out visiting stores and pretty much every parking space was taken. The stores had so many people. I in Walmart there were at least 500 people! Traffic was busy during the weekend.

if your a retired military person this would be the perfect place. But for the young people mainly between 21-29 this town is pretty much boring and everything is the same all the time. if your from a big city you will hate this town..

Jacksonville, Nc is awesome I personally love it and can not wait to return. Currently in Manhattan, KS after living in Jax for 6 yrs and this does not add up, I miss the beach!

It's not that is really a bad place to be it's just to small to be a city and to big to be a town. I feel bad for the locals because it has no culture of it's own.If you like to shop and get your nails done I guess it would be ok for you. It's hard to form relationships with anyone because everyone is only staying for a while. ...

Great place to raise kids. Safe, not the city, but nothing for them to do! Parks are not taken care of and when it is too hot to play outside....the place to take them is Wal Mart....It sucks for the kids...They need to bring a Kid Zone or Discovery Kids here, but that won't happen!

if your a single young male there isn't much to look forward.
