Love the Highlands scenery
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/05
I love the people and the artistic layout of highlands. It is full of wonderful waterfalls, some are incognito so you have to search for them but that is where the fun comes into hiking the mountain range. People are nice and very curteous as long as you treat them with respect and don't tread on their shoes. I lived there for almost 7 years and it is magnificent. I will return there one day to live again.

Canoe on the lake, hike through the woods, slide down a waterfall, nestle up to a fire, and spend time with family. Stay in town and enjoy perusing through the wonderful shops on Main Street. Find art galleries, antiques and home ...
