Like most the millitary brought me here, and its sad. With so many tax payers in this one horse town.(Skibo)Why can't the city offer anything? Not too many families riding buy on interstate 95 are going to look up at the signs and say, "Wow an AIRBORNE Museum." I just feel with such a large youth base population it would be nice to offer them more than food.

Why would anyone visit Fayetteville?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/07
I remember when my husband and I first arrived in Fayetteville in 1999 after being stationed in Germany.
Like most newcomers, we rode around the city to get the feel of the indoor and outdoor entertainment spots, and of course, to see downtown buildings. What downtown buildings?
We were sorely dissapointed to see that Fayetteville did not ...
I hear so many people saying so many negative things about Fayetteville, that I thought it was time to give some positives. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. We are about 1 1/2 - 2 hours from the beach (where there are tons of things to do), we are about an hour from Raleigh, a few hours from Charlotte, 4 hours from Charleston, South ...

I, like most people living in fayetteville, am in the military. I have been here for 7 years and have not been impressed. The city has done a decent job of cleaning the city up, and the cost of living is good, but that is as good as it gets. Fayetteville makes it living off the military. If you are not related to the military and want to live ...
FAYETTEVILLE SEEMS TO BE UP AND COMING, AND THEY ARE TRYING TO CLEAN UP THE PLACE. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS A LOT OF WORK TO DO, AND THERE ARE ONLY A FEW CULTURAL PLACES TO VISIT. IT MIGHT NOT BE A BAD PLACE TO LIVE, BUT IT IS A POOR PLACE TO VISIT.

Clarion Prince Charles Hotel - Hay Street
I love this place! It's located in the downtown historic area of Fayetteville. The hotel is attractively decorated with a classical taste which gives it a "Renaissance" appearance. Everything about this hotel was visually pleasing down to the grand piano located in the upper level ...
I'm currently in the U.S. Army and stationed at Ft. Bragg which Fayetteville surrounds. The main part of town doesn't have too much going on as far as wanting to go out, explore and see attractions in the town. There are very little places that grabs the children's audience. Also, right outside of post, Fayetteville has nothing much to ...
