Pristine, rough beaches, family oriented - definitely not a party destination.

We loved our stay there - great shops, beautiful ocean and beaches. A sea turtle even came ashore and laid her eggs not too far from where we were staying, which was a huge event!

Great spot for families. Can't wait to go again.

Vacationed in Duck since 83, finally, bought a vacation home in 2000. Duck is the best of the best in first class upscale living/vacationing. Duck has somthing for everone. OBX owner

clean uncrowded beaches, great boutique shopping, no commercial malls or grocery stores. a true small town vibe with the beach at your doorstep. friendly locals. the dining out options range from casual to gourmet. the tough part is having to go back home to the reality of hustle and bustle.
