Personally, I will never understand why Cary, NC gets such high marks as a top place to live. I've lived here for awhile, and I am moving away as soon as I get the chance. Just a small list of the problems that Cary has:

* No mass transit system

* Totally inadequate road system

There are a lot of parks in Cary to visit with family. They even have a skate park! Regency park has an amphitheatre where they have various performances in the season (spring - summer - fall). This is the best place to raise your children. It is a unified community. Children involved in several sports. The crime rate is low due to police are always trying to make our city safe. The housing tends to be high but that is everywhere. SAS is here in our town along with Cary Academy the school owned by SAS's owner. Clean area. Very relaxing too. Nice and clean parks to take your children to.

Great place to live and work.
Low crime rate. Great schools. Lots of places to visit and things to do. Lots of shopping unique to the area.
