My family and I spent a week in Carolina Beach on the oceanfront in a great condo! The area is newly being rennovated so you practically have the beach to yourself. There are grab crabbing spots nearby and fun things to do like rent jet ski's, take a cruise on the intracoastal waterway or just get a great tan! :)

The beach was very beautiful, clean and uncrowded. The ocean was warm, but refreshing. Every Thursday they have a nice firework display by the boardwalk. We rented a brand new 4 bedroom house with a pool for $3000. The rental company was very nice.

Carolina Beach is very clean and not overcrowded like Myrtle Beach. Great for families with young children. There are several decently priced hotels and houses that are right on the beach. The aquarium and Battleship North Carolina are close by attractions. Very relaxing atmosphere.
It has become our yearly vacation spot.

This beach wasn't very crowded, which is great for a peaceful family vacation! There isn't much to do. If you're just looking for great scenery, and a nice quiet place, Carolina beach is great! We're thinking about going back, just the two of us!
