Dated ExperienceLast minute we called and book a reservation through Bryant Real Estate...they gave options of prices. We pick one that was fairly comparable, thinking the place they sent us to would at least be descent. FilthyOur family came to Atlantic Beach to visit our son, who is stationed at Cherry Point. We went to the beach for a little fun, and found the dirtiest beach we have ever seen. There were cigarette butts everywhere, cola cans, water bottles, etc. The beach was littered with filth. We were so disappointed!!! I actually started picking up some ...3 of 4 Yahoo! Awesome, less popular beach!!!This is a great beach if you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of Myrtle or Hilton Head, etc. There are no major condo buildings or hotels, and everything is much smaller / slower. Beautiful Place!I have visited Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, and Moorehead City, NC for many years now, and all are very clean, beautiful, and historic towns. The area is very family friendly, has many good restaurants, and lots of family entertainment!

It could be your paradise!Well Atlantic Beach, NC is quiet diffrent then where I am from; Dallas, Texas. It is alot more quiet and alot more layed back. But there is not much to do around here except fish, and go to the beach. If you are looking for a great place to just relax then this could be your place. Going back ASAP!My husband and I along with our three young sons stayed at the Southwinds Condos on Atlantic Beach and absolutely loved it. There are so many things to do and much to see. Love it!We went there last year with six kids and loved it! It is very relaxed and close to many attractions. This Is our yearly vacation spot!The Ramada is the most efficient and is in the best location on the beach. The beach is never crowded, always a great atmosphere. awesome place....Atlantic Beach North Carolina can't be beat!!! This place is great for families and is not the craziness of Nags Head. You can actually breath on the beach and not have people on top of you. There is alot to do or you can just relax. The restaurants are very good and the value is there.
