    Don't pay attention to that other post -- I'm not what places you've been to if you consider Riverhead unsafe. Are there areas that I wouldn't go to at night? Sure. But for the most part Riverhead town is nice and safe. Traffic? Now that's a different story...

    its impossible to believe that riverhead is on longisland.this place is dangerous,very poor and extremelly ugly.ther are some shopping centers in riverhead to make there richer and safer but they didnt make this true. riverhead is still ugly and dangerous. never go there if you havent got a car because public transportation is a nightmare also
