Rensselaer is small and quaint. There is not too much to see, but it is a nice community. It is like that little town on TV where everyone knows each other. Family oriented and nice, but not the best for traveling too. But, it is only minutes away from the capital city, Albany. There is much more to in the surrounding area's. It is a short drive to Massachusetts and Vermont from Rensselaer. I give it a decent rating!
