It's everything you like about visiting a small town. There are quaint bed and breakfasts like the one I stayed at. They had a big friendly dog and acres of land to walk. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails especially at North South lake where you can swim, fish, and camp as well. If you love the outdoors and getting away from it all it's great. I go every year and I can't wait to go back.
