We have family and visit from time to time.
Great small town feel with big city conveniences. Alien theme is all over the town. From there you can visit; the Valley of Fire (black lava flow), Carlsbad Caverns, the mountains, and or the bottomless lakes.

Roswell is great, the bottomless lakes are a great place for families to swim, camp, and enjoy the scenery. Not too far from Roswell is Billy the kids grave site and the site of the suppossed alien crash. It is a vacation for the entire family, we even considered moving there.

This place sure does capitalize on the UFO thing back in 1947. It is interesting to see if you like that sort of thing, which I do. The museum was good and educational. They have a lot of military training places, wonder why that is? Coincidental to the UFO thing?? It has a McDonalds in shape of a UFO. Good fun. Great for kids to explore what else could be living in the universe.

My Grandparents lived here for years. I went every summer. Its sooo awesome! and Its near a lot of neat tourist places! GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!

Liked small town atmosphere, friendliness, climate, parks and recreation system, variety of careers at ENMU-R Best time to visit is in the fall. Mountiains are 1 hr away with beutiful fall colors

I went last weekend, and fell in love with the small town feel. It is almost like a big city. The people are friendly, and the food was great.
