I liked the fact that I was cured there. But I will not try and convince anybody of this since I wouldn't want any one to have false hope of getting the answer that I did when I went there. All I know is that it worked for me.

I love the place, the atmosphere is peaceful, it is a place to meditate, it is wonderful to have a place like that here on earth.

We try to make the pilgramage to chimayo at least once a year. Once you go once you will want to return again and again. The Historic church at Chimayo is a must see everytime, and you must stop at Leona's for lunch. the homemade tamale's are to die for!

No, that was not one of the best, that was THE best thing about our last visit there. We hope to go back this year and visit with her again. We ate at the little restaurant there, and did all the usual things we do at Chimayo and we truly can't hardly wait to go back. It is our favorite place to visit in New Mexico.

I was born and raised in NM and yes it is a place where poverty is obvious and drugs are a huge part of the crime rate. But the church and the dirt in Chimayo is something that is very special to the people of NM. We do not believe the dirt is "dirty". I think any person who believes so is very naive and judgemental.

great hiking trails and horse trails great sking in the winter and the hotels are old but nice the resturants are great new mexico green chile food and the people are very nice!
