My family went there for four days in both 2007 and 2008, I am pretty sure we will now be back every year. The beach is huge and the sand is the softest in New Jersey. My daughter loves to boogie board. My wife loves riding the tramcar after shopping the boardwalk. I love everything there and really like renting bikes or surries for morning ...

Great time and the Monaco Motel was the perfect beach motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/08
We liked all the lights and energy Wildwood has to offer. The boardwalk is a must for everyone. We stayed at the Monaco Motel and it was so close to the beach and the famous boardwalk you couldn't ask for anything else!! Wildwood has the biggest beach that I ever saw and great rides and games for all ages.
I enjoy the boardwalk. The very large FREE beach. The water parks(go after 4:00 and save money; Senior citizens are FREE). Great place to sit down and relax or party all day and night. Daytime go to the large beach and relax. and at night you can go on pier or two and ride the rides at night. or go clubbing. If in the mood to do something ...
we go every summer. its about an hour from our house and its a nice beach with a big boardwalk . lots of good food!

Old Outdated... Time Has Passed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/08
Old, dirty accommodations overall in the town... The heyday for WW has passed, and tourists are now left wiyh hotel owners who never left and are still more than willing to gouge us for the mess that WW has become. the best hotels are now being sold as condos and the beach is overrun by teenagers looking to drink and party in cheap hotel rooms with ...

THE best beach on the Jersey Shore!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/05/07
The Wildwoods truly have something for everyone. I've been going there since I was a baby and love it!
Everyone knows Wildwood for it's crazy, 50s-style arcitecture, it's hundreds and hundreds of 50s and 60s-style motels (sadly, many of them have been knocked down in favor of boring, ugly condos that aren't selling - but luckily ...

Good fun all around
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/07
There are many things great about the Wildwoods. There is a great boardwalk, probably the best in New Jersey. The beach is great (and free), the rides and piers are great, the waterpark is great and be sure to check out Curley's homemade fries and lemonade. There is one of these at the beginning of Morey's Pier and at Mariner's Pier. ...

Wildwood bets Ocean City
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/04/07
Wildwood does still have many very nice motels. Some have been torn down, but there are still hundreds left. You most absolutly can go to the boardwalk alone. Which I have done many times. I am 64 years old. As for Ocean City , they have amusement rides but not have as great as the ones in Wildwood. You have rides for young and old alike. Wensday ...

We were disappointed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/07
This is probably a great place to go as a family. Although the 3 amusement piers were pretty kewl, not being able to get an alcoholic drink on the boardwalk was a huge disappointment. We were on vacation! We walked blocks to find Juan Pablo's Margarita Bar. Margarita's there were awesome...the young male waitstaff was a bonus!! C&R From Texas.
