  • Watch out for RACISM..IT STILL EXISTS!
    By Jessica, 05/11/09
Seaside heights would have been a terrible experience for someone that is not as strong as I am. First, we were not allowed to enter "Hemmingways" because of our BRONX, NY license. we were turned away at the door and told to go to "Bamboo"..basically a much more ghetto place. So being the person that I am, I leave because ...

  • Seaside Crab House
    By dolphin lover, 08/25/08
I just wanted to let everyone know Please Do Not go to dinner at the
Seaside Crab House. My family went here for dinner and upon arriving we were told it would be a half hour wait. After 45 min. we went to check on our table they told us it will be a few mins. A hour and a half later we went to the owner and he said we are busy but I will get you ...

  • Best place on the east coast
    By noneof, 07/16/08
Went to Seaside this year. It was a blast. There is so many things to do and many places to eat and drink. What I liked the most is that ther are all kinds of people there. It is very interesting. I find the culture in Cape May and LBI too "yuppy" for me. I did notice some "section 8" people there which baffled me. Why or how ...

  • LIVED THERE-NEVER AGAIN
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/07
I briefly had no choice but to LIVE in Seaside Heights-in a CONDO that used to me a motel. ALL Section 8/low income except me of course. IT WAS EXPENSIVE-as I didn't get housing-BED BUGS!!! I never encounterd these things in my life! It was just a fable. Yes folks-Seaside is full of them and MANY motels and so called hotels are filled with ...

  • Where are these people going?
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/07
I cant believe the reviews I have been reading! The beach is dirty, and you are suggesting wildwood. Have you really gone to wildwood? I have been there for a cheerleading competition several years now. You have to walk a mile through muck to even get to the water. I have decided that I will never go there for a vacation. Seaside Heights is ...

  • Awesome "Seaside" Resort
    By patrik, 12/08/06
Seaside Heights is, in one word, unbelievable. There is so much to do in the 1 square mile beach town that it truly is crazy. The beaches are actually some of the nicest in New Jersey. The boardwalk is NJ's second best and brimming with rides, pizza, arcades, games of chance stands, cotton candy vendors, shell shops and great food. The ...

  • I LOVE THIS PLACE!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/06
My fmaily & I spend every summer down in Seaside Heights. We love the beach, and the very large nice boardwalk. I dont reccomend it for families with small children, but if you have teens they'll absolutely adore it. It's full of fun and if you get bored you can simply travel to Point Pleasant or Lavalette for the day. You can't beat Seaside. It's my second home.

  • go to seaside park or point pleasant beach
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/06
as someone who grew up in the area, i`ll be the first to say stay away from seaside heights unless you want to party or see the carnival like atmosphere (plenty of interesting people for those of you who are people watchers). its a fun place to visit for the day, but thats all. seaside park is a lot nicer but doesn`t have all of the tourist traps. ...

  • Nice Town, Nasty Cops
    By Ethan, 12/19/05
Went to SS Heights last summer with about 7 friends. We were playing catch with a Nerf football on the beach, and cops escorted us off w/ no warning, and issued us $125 tickets after threatening further charges and a morality lecture.

Local DA was even ruder. We were nowhere near anyone, not warned, and put up no resistance.

    Literally no ...
