I have been to Ocean City, NJ every year of my life- almost 22! Most years I spend at least a week or two there without leaving. I live in Indiana now and still drive 750 miles and 12 hours just to go to OC!
The beaches are the cleanest that I've ever seen. The people are friendly and you feel safe on this island.
There's something ...

Awesome Summer Vacation Spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/09
I have been coming down to OCNJ since I was a young boy. I am only a teenager now, but I know this place very well. There are excellent restaurants in Somers Point with great, fresh seafood. There are many things to do during the day such as a nice day on the beach, water parks, or just shopping around the great town of Ocean City. At night, you ...
The best one word description of Ocean City, New Jersey is, Wow! Many towns and cities have something unique to offer visitors, but some, like Ocean City, stand head and shoulders above the rest.
Founded in the late 1800's, Ocean City has been a top-notch vacation destination for more than a century. So famous was the islands' beauty ...

Flanders Hotel Ocean City, NJ
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/08
The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City, N. J. is a "Gem Down The Shore," our recent stay there was more than memorable making us feel more than welcome in the "Grande Old Dame"; and never wanting to leave such an elegant 1920's Hotel. Dining in Emily's Ocean Cafe was the best experience since they offer Gourmet fare; their ...
I have been going to OC since I was a child. My mother made sure to share the same wonderful memories she had as a child while on vacation at her paretns summer home in Sommers Point NJ each year. Now she shares these same fond memories while looking to the smiles on her grandchildren's faces as they spend time at the beach where she once did ...

Uh...Why were we here?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/07
My family and i all went to OCNJ for a friends wedding, the weddding its self was great but the hotel was nothing i expected. We stayed at the flanders hotel and yes, it is obvious it was built in the 20's. The entire time you feel that you are literally on top of the amusements a stones throw away. As soon as we got to our room we looked out ...
I just visited Ocean City of NJ this past weekend and very disappointed when realized there isn't any public shower facility. There is however a private shower house which charge $7/person which is a rip off. I don't know why they collect $5/person beach tag and not having a shower. We ended up going home feeling yucky and itching all over the body. This is our first and last time to this beach.
I was driving back to Boston from North Carolina. Stopped 2 days visited some family in East Brunswick... As one of the laragest immigreats States in America! No one speaks English around you!!! I have no use for this State at all.
Plus the crazy drivers! No one gives you a break! I thought NY drivers are bad! come to NJ then!
