Sometimes referred to as America's first beach town, Cape May is the oldest seaside resort in the United States. With its keen focus on beauty and history the entire town was designated an historical landmark in 1976. Founded in the 1700's many of the buildings in Cape May are actually originals maintained in emaculent condition. With many ...
I enjoyed everything about Cape May. The people and the places were quite enjoyable and interesting. I am going back again this year to see more. A weekend is not a long enough visit to be here to relax.

My family (cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc) has been going to Cape May for over 20 years. From generation to generation, it just never gets old! Like some others said, Wildwood, Ocean City, and LBI are great, but there's nothing like Cape May. It has boardwalks, arcades, bike rentals, golfing, excellent restaurants and great ...

Great place to go for a weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/20/07
Very interesting place to go for a weekend. The Victorian houses and B & B's are great, as are the historical trolley tours, whale watches, shopping and restaurants. All in a very small, quaint, town. More for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, a good place to relax.

We adore Cape May - but will chose a different B&B next time
Since we began going to Cape May in the 1980's it has been one of our very top favorite destinations. It has been about 9 years since we have gone there (not exactly the day trip it used to be for us!) since we moved to CA. What a thrill to see how unchanged it was - and how much we still loved it!

healthy food for mind & body
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/15/06
our stay was too short, but we found a wonderful place, beachfront, w/ quality healthy food in an open-air courtyard. between jackson & perry on beach avenue, a quietly unassuming pita/wrap/salad stand with great quality & quantity, friendly people and fair prices. next door, over 24 flavors of dairy-free soft-serve...it's like your body gets ...
