Littleton, at first glance, is beautiful. But, you must go into Main Street, and there you will find abundant disappointment. Of all the shops, only 4 cater to clothing, and their prices are much too high for a lot of people. The bookstore, while cozy, doesn't offer much in the department of variety, and the CD prices are marked up. There ...

one of the nicest places on the planet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/06
Littleton is one of the nicest little towns to live in that anyone is going to find. Fresh air, good water, good schools, good shopping, everything is close, and the scenic beauty is amazing from just about anywhere in town. It's proximity to the mountains, golf, and great fishing are all big assets to the town. Believe me when I say Littleton overall, of the many towns I have been to,is the best. Littleton is the small town total package.

Can't wait to get away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/06
Littleton is a strange little back woods town. Internet... you can't get there from here. If you are concerned about safety, Littleton is the safest place you will ever visit. Sidewalks roll up at 6:00 and the cops constantly patrol the streets pulling over most everyone who passes through with out of state plates. If you are looking to just ...

I moved to the area several years ago, and all I can say is BORING. Yes, there is the White Mountain National Forest, with hiking, biking, skiing, and other outdoor activities, but when it is dreary weather,(And that's a lot) There is nothing to do. Few activities for kids, and the schools are nothing to brag about. No nightlife. It's great ...

Living in Littleton....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/05
Well...Let's just say once you visit you may not want to leave. Thats just what my family and I did! Littleton is everything you want in a town. Small, but big in areas that matter most. The working Main street is a high point. Walk the shops downtown and discover many interesting shops and food establishments. In the rear of the stores there ...

I just returned home from visiting Littleton, NH and found it to be quite convenient and am looking to purchase a home there. It was my first visit and first impression. I don't believe any one town is perfect but I liked and enjoyed what I experienced there very much. I am looking forward to my next visit there in the very near future.

I Live Here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/15/05
I feel it my duty to inform people of Littleton. While the landscapes are beautiful, certain Main Street shops are semi-good, Main Street itself is often over-crowded, and some shopkeepers look at you like a leech. There isn't much to do, unless, you like bike riding or hiking. If shopping is your forte, we have an abundance of stores, and ...

I visit Littelton very often and I absolutly love it there. Its peaceful and the people that live thier make every visit enjoyable. I have been going to littleton, Nh since I was a young girl and its still the most beautiful place. And the fact that the It is relativley close to Franconia Notch gives it an A+ in my book.
